I Know Most Progressives Can't Stand Hosni, But..

Truth be told, he's kind of a symbol of modern Egypt. I don't know about you, but I'm too young to have any images in my head of Sadat as president, hence my going with Hosni.

This doesn't mean I agree with the way he's running the country--don't even get me started on the church-building thing. But then, I don't really agree with the way Bush is running it, either. But then, I probably wouldn't agree with anyone who wasn't moi! :)
