I Am A Tabla Jazz Drummer

No one's ever heard of that combination, I know.

 

But the truth is, I am both a tabla player, and a jazz drummer, all rolled into one.

 

I admit that it could be disconcerting to see a percussionist for Michael Buble or Ella or Sarah or Nat hitting a Middle Eastern one-piece transparent drum with her hands, rather than a snazzy 12-piece kit with shiny black sticks, but it sounds cool.

 

I'm serious!

 

Anyway, enough going-ons for the moment. I think I hear Michael singing "I've Got The World On a String," and my hands are just aching to hit something!
